Through SC Films Jungle Beat 2 The Past joins their lineup as an entertaining family-animation following a stegosaurus's jungle expedition after becoming stranded.

The completed family animation Jungle Beat 2: The Past is now available with UK sales company SC Films as it prepares for European Film Market (EFM). Toronto-based Brent Dawes together with Sam Wilson from South Africa directed the beloved Jungle Beat sequel.

The South African television series Jungle Beat premiered in 2003 before becoming a cinematic experience at Annecy in 2020 which Netflix later picked up. A prehistoric discovery occurs when a stegosaurus falls through a time-hole into the jungle before starting a high-speed safari rescue journey.

Voices in the film include David Munkin and Ina Marie Smith. Together Philip Cunningham and Jacqui Cunningham and Tim Keller and Rita Mbanga produce this project at Cape Town's Sunrise Productions alongside Mauritius-based Sandcastle Studios.

According to SC Films founder Simon Crowe the movie served as an entertaining charming family-friendly experience. Apart from Girl In The Clouds, the company's animation portfolio consists of thriller Orang Ikan and horror By The Throat as well as the family drama Grow.
