Leadership today is not about loud promises or oversized budgets; it is about clarity, restraint, and knowing where effort truly matters. Among the women redefining modern entrepreneurship, Pooja Chitnis stands out for her rare blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to simplify complexity and turn limited resources into affordable, measurable, and sustainable growth. Her work reflects a disciplined belief: marketing should work smarter—not harder—and technology, especially AI, should level the playing field rather than widen it.
That philosophy sits at the heart of everything she has built and leads.
Founded by Pooja Chitnis, The Upadhyays Ventures Inc. (TUVI) was created to democratize marketing—making strategic, AI-enabled growth accessible and affordable for businesses that don’t have the luxury of large teams or budgets. TUVI positions itself not as a traditional agency, but as a trusted growth partner for founders and operators who want clarity and accountability on their marketing investments.
TUVI delivers end-to-end marketing services, including market research and positioning, growth strategy, SEO and website optimization, content and channel marketing, social media and digital advertising, customer engagement, CRM setup, and practical AI-driven automations. Every solution is intentionally designed to minimize unnecessary expenses, tech fatigue, and complexity—focusing instead on systems that scale with the business.
Complementing its affordable and sustainable marketing services, the agency offers a growing knowledge ecosystem of AI learning resources, including managerial guides, courses, and books that help leaders understand how AI impacts marketing, operations, and decision-making. The goal is not to replace people with technology, but to empower teams with the confidence and clarity to use AI responsibly and effectively.
Pooja’s leadership is grounded in experience. A Chartered Marketer with an MBA, she has driven growth across sectors, including but not limited to tech, tourism, not-for-profits, real estate, and fashion - achieving results like a fourfold increase in website traffic and a 115x surge in app usage. Recognized among Canada’s “20 Amazing Women in Tech,” she also advises national organizations and gives back through community initiatives.
At CIO Bulletin, we had the privilege of interviewing Pooja Chitnis, Founder of The Upadhyays Ventures Inc. Interview Highlights
Ms. Pooja Chitnis your journey spans marketing, AI, and advisory leadership. What defining moment pushed you from being a marketing expert to building TUVI as a growth partner for businesses?
For many years, I worked within high-growth start-ups, leading marketing and customer success initiatives. I was often brought in to solve complex challenges—stagnant growth, unclear brand positioning, disconnected customer journeys, or underperforming digital investments that were costing organizations time and money—resources most did not have the luxury to spare the way larger enterprises do. Over time, a clear pattern emerged: businesses were investing in marketing tactics without a long-term strategy or clearly defined goals, often distracted by the noise of what marketing should be doing rather than what actually drives sustainable impact.
That realization shifted my perspective. I saw that most organizations didn’t need “more marketing”—they needed a growth partner who could integrate strategy, technology, and execution into a cohesive, sustainable system that delivers results at an affordable cost. That insight became the foundation of The Upadhyays Ventures Inc.
As a woman leader in tech and marketing, what barriers did you face early on and how did those challenges influence your resilience and leadership style today?
Early in my career, I was often the youngest person in the room—or the only woman at the table—frequently expected to “execute” rather than influence strategy.
Those challenges, while difficult, taught me to trust my instincts and persevere, even when outcomes seemed uncertain. They also shaped my leadership philosophy: I highlight my own successes while lifting my team, ensuring that everyone’s contributions are recognized and celebrated.
Today, I lead with empathy and accountability. I set high standards, foster environments where data drives decisions and ideas are challenged respectfully, and create spaces where women feel empowered to speak with conviction. Barriers didn’t slow me down—they refined how I lead.
Looking at TUVI's offerings, what core products and services do you provide, such as market research, SEO support, and AI automations, and what sets them apart in helping businesses achieve measurable ROI with limited resources?
TUVI was founded with a simple mission: to democratize marketing with a lens on affordability. We believe that businesses with strong potential deserve the same access to strategic, results-driven marketing as larger, well-funded organizations.
As a 360-degree marketing agency and consultancy, our offerings include, but are not limited to, SEO (or AIO, as it is now commonly called), content and channel marketing, AI-powered automations, customer engagement, email and social media marketing, and advisory support.
What truly sets us apart is how we approach growth. Every engagement begins with a clear-eyed understanding of our clients’ business realities, priorities, and customer behavior—not assumptions or trends. From there, we build affordable, sustainable strategies and apply technology intentionally, ensuring it delivers outcomes without adding complexity, tech fatigue, or unnecessary cost. We focus on helping businesses work smarter, not harder, and we remain deeply invested in our clients’ success as long-term growth partners, not just service providers.
As a certified Chartered Marketer, how have you leveraged your expertise to drive remarkable results like 4x website traffic growth and 115x app usage increases, and what lessons from these successes can other women entrepreneurs apply?
In my work, success has rarely come from doing more—it has come from making better choices. Many clients arrived after trying multiple tactics that promised growth but delivered complexity instead. My role became less about fixing individual channels and more about helping them step back, reset priorities, and focus on what would create momentum with the resources they actually had.
By stripping away distraction and anchoring decisions in data and business fundamentals, we were able to unlock growth that felt intentional, not reactive. That approach also built trust—because clients didn’t just see results, they understood why those results were happening and felt confident sustaining them long after.
For women entrepreneurs, I share three key lessons from these experiences:
Don’t chase trends—build systems and communities that last.
Measure what matters, not what simply looks impressive.
Trust your analytical instincts as much as your creative ones.
Success compounds when decisions are intentional and data-informed.
How do your certifications in AI, digital marketing, and neuromarketing inform your approach to mentoring other women in business, and what role do you see in fostering the next generation of female leaders?
Certifications are not just credentials; they are lenses through which I solve problems. AI teaches efficiency and scalability. Digital marketing teaches adaptability. Neuromarketing teaches empathy and behavioral understanding.
When mentoring women, I focus on helping them see technology as an enabler—not a threat. Many women underestimate their ability to lead in technical or data-driven roles. My goal is to help women build confidence at the intersection of creativity, intelligence, and technology—because that is where future leadership lies.
What excites you most about the intersection of AI and marketing, especially as a woman leading this space, and how does your book Modern Marketing Using AI empower female professionals to harness these tools?
What excites me most is how AI levels the playing field. AI allows smaller teams and underrepresented leaders to compete with larger organizations by improving decision-making, personalization, and efficiency—in an affordable and effective way.
Modern Marketing Using AI was written to make these tools accessible—not intimidating. The book focuses on practical applications, real-world use cases, and strategic thinking rather than hype. For women professionals, it offers a roadmap to lead confidently in AI-powered environments. It is about empowerment through understanding.
Do you have a book, podcast, or a quote that’s had a deep impact on your thinking? Can you share a story with us? Can you explain why it was so resonant with you?
A quote that has deeply shaped my thinking is: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
Early in my career, I saw how often marketing was made unnecessarily complex—expensive tools, layered strategies, and tactics that looked impressive but were not accessible or effective. That disconnect stayed with me. I realized that when marketing is simplified, grounded in data, and aligned with business realities, it becomes far more powerful—and far more inclusive.
That insight is at the heart of TUVI – Ensuring that growth is not reserved for companies with large budgets only, but also for those with the right systems in place.
What's next on the horizon for TUVI? Are there any innovative services or products in the pipeline, like advanced AI-driven marketing automations that clients and fellow entrepreneurs should be anticipating?
Growth! Like any other founder, what excites me is the potential partnerships this year and how we can help scale their brands to their dream position—not just through marketing activities, but by building sustainable systems that combine smart data, innovative thinking, and scalable processes.

We are also expanding into new horizons with the launch of Wejnan (app.wejnan.com), a relationship compatibility app designed to help people understand connection dynamics and improve communication in personal and professional relationships. Wejnan reflects a core principle that guides TUVI: meaningful engagement starts with truly understanding people—whether they are customers, teams, or partners.
Finally, what message would you like to share with the next generation of women entrepreneurs who aspire to lead with creativity, compassion, and courage in whatever field they choose?
You don’t need to fit into existing molds to succeed. Lead with curiosity, integrity, and courage. Learn the language of technology, but don’t lose your humanity. Build businesses that solve real problems and create meaningful impact.
Most importantly, trust that your perspective is not a limitation—it’s your advantage.
