Free festival brings hundreds of local artists and performers together on Riverside Avenue.
Spokane is ready to welcome its biggest night of art and music as Terrain 16 returns this Friday, transforming Riverside Avenue into a lively celebration of creativity. Running from 5 p.m. to midnight at 314 W. Riverside Ave., the free, all-ages festival has become a beloved highlight of the city’s cultural calendar.
Now in its 16th year, Terrain has evolved far beyond a traditional art show. This year, over 480 artists will showcase their work across a wide range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, film, live music, and immersive performances. The festival offers attendees a unique chance to explore and tour the full spectrum of Spokane’s vibrant creative scene.
From casual visitors stopping by for a few hours to devoted art lovers staying until the final performance, Terrain promises something for everyone. It is not just a festival—it is a night of inspiration, connection, and celebration that brings the community together and highlights the city’s rich artistic spirit.
Organizers say the event captures the essence of Spokane’s creativity, offering both emerging and established artists a platform to share their vision with the public. With its mix of visual art, live performances, and interactive experiences, Terrain 16 is set to be an unforgettable evening that reinforces why the festival has become a cherished local tradition.
