Blending country, pop, and bold storytelling, the artist brings a fresh voice to modern radio
Acclaimed artist Fancy Hagood has returned to the spotlight with the launch of his new weekly radio show, “Fancy,” on Apple Music Country. The show marks a fresh chapter in his journey, offering listeners a rich mix of country, Americana, and genre-blending sounds.
Designed as a music-first experience, the show goes beyond just playlists. It features curated tracks, engaging segments, and conversations with fellow artists and creative voices. Alongside the show, Hagood has also introduced a companion playlist titled “Hagood Music,” giving fans an even deeper look into his musical influences and personal taste.
This is not his first time behind the mic. Hagood previously hosted popular shows like “Trailblazers Radio” and “Hallelujah Anyway Radio,” earning recognition for his authentic style and thoughtful storytelling.
Having moved to Nashville at just 17, Hagood set out with a clear goal, to become an openly queer voice in country music. Over the years, he has built a strong identity, blending country with pop and glam influences. His 2024 album “American Spirit” further expanded his global fanbase.
As highlighted by CIO Bulletin, the launch reflects a broader shift in the music industry, where artists are using digital platforms to connect more personally with audiences. New episodes of “Fancy” will air weekly and be available on demand for subscribers.
