With the help of NVIDIA, Andhra Pradesh is able to open India’s first AI University to further education, innovation and AI-related startups.

The government of Andhra Pradesh made a remarkable decision by signing an MoU with NVIDIA to start India’s first AI University. With the chief minister leading and the IT minister supervising the initiative, this move aims to establish a solid and all-inclusive artificial intelligence system in Andhra Pradesh.

As a part of the agreement, NVIDIA will offer help in building curriculum and training as well. 10,000 engineering students across Andhra Pradesh will develop AI skills over the next 2 years. Each of the 500 AI companies at the event can join NVIDIA’s Inception Program to receive global attention and necessary resources.

NVIDIA will play a crucial role in establishing networks and enhancing research capabilities at the AI University. CM said that the project would be the basis for making Andhra Pradesh prosperous through efforts in education, skills, innovative ideas and AI research.

At the same time, Amaravati’s Quantum Valley Tech Park is experiencing important technological progress, as IBM and TCS are creating India’s biggest quantum computer there. The purpose of this technological advancement is to make Andhra Pradesh a top spot for innovations.
