IgniteData closes Series A funding to scale global automation and scale clinical trials with AI to achieve smart, faster and frictionless data management.

IgniteData, the official global automation provider of trial data, has managed to pass a Series A funding round co-investing with new enterprises FCA Venture Partners and extend financial resources received by its previous investors, SpringTide and Oncology Ventures. Theinvestment  will be used to fuel IgniteData to grow its network of global research sites and to develop its flagship platform, IgniteData Archer, which allows seamless, automated transfer of clinical trial data between electronic health records and data warehouses and electronic data capture.

CEO Zach Taft also noted that the round is used to scale the company through automation solutions across the globe. According to him, there is an explosion of the need to do smarter and faster clinical trials, and IgniteData is ready to provide intelligent and automated data solutions to healthcare providers and pharmaceutical sponsors.

The IgniteData platform is already in deployment at the world's leading cancer centers and is quickly spreading into community hospitals in North America, Europe, and Asia. The platform uses AI and intelligent data mapping to enhance the quality of data and the speed of trial and site and sponsor collaboration.

The investors have hopes in the automation of the company. Having achieved scale, IgniteData has built a scalable platform that automates data processes with measurable results according to Matt King, Managing Partner of FCA Venture Partners. SpringTide and Oncology Ventures, returning investors, also raised their positions, indicating positive aspects of the development path of the company.

As they are strategizing to expand to international markets, product innovation, and alliances, IgniteData will change the clinical trials market through smart automation.
