EEMUA is opening a new course of e-learning dedicated to the topic of refrigerated liquefied gas storage tank storage and safety and engineering concepts.
EEMUA has enhanced its training capacity in technical competences with the introduction of a new e-learning course focused on refrigerated liquefied gas (RLG) storage tanks. Its latest takeover in its continuously growing e-learning range focuses on the spreading demand of the qualified professionals to manage the RLG facilities, which are also becoming more and more away in capacity across the globe.
The 60-minute course is an introduction to engineering principles at the awareness level to train on the safe design, building, operation, and maintenance of RLG storage tanks. The e-learning module was designed based on the EEMUA Publication 147, and it addresses single, double, and full containment tanks and membrane tanks that have the ability of containing the liquids that are as low as -165°C at close to atmospheric pressure.
The facilities that contain LPG, LNG, ethylene, ethane, ammonia, and the like also fall under the e-learning domain; thus, it has a value to the engineers and technicians as well as managers in the energy and chemical industries. The course is intended to enhance competency in a very vital infrastructure sector by design engineers, maintenance teams, inspection staff and process safety professionals.
The e-learning is accessible to the learner via the EEMUA site and at the end of it an online test is available to certify a level of proficiency on the awareness level. The release is also another move by EEMUA in its enhancement of modern, convenient, and industry-oriented e-learning solutions for the global engineering fraternities.
