ISPN Acquires ZCorum to Expand Managed Services for Broadband Providers

A strategic move aims to strengthen managed IT services and support broadband networks, especially in rural and underserved communities.

ISPN, a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners, has acquired ZCorum, a broadband technology and managed services provider based in Alpharetta, Georgia. The move brings together two companies with a shared focus on helping broadband providers run their networks more efficiently while improving service for their customers.

ZCorum has built a strong reputation for offering broadband diagnostics and managed services that support internet providers, particularly those serving rural and underserved communities. With this acquisition, ISPN expands its reach across both cable and fiber networks, adding complementary services such as managed cybersecurity, hosted VoIP, IPTV, network monitoring, and subscriber support.

Jeff Neblett, CEO of ISPN, said the partnership is a step forward in the company’s broader mission. “This acquisition advances ISPN’s mission to deliver industry-leading managed services that help close the digital divide,” Neblett stated.

The transition also comes at a meaningful moment for ZCorum following the passing of its longtime CEO, Julie Compann. CFO Luis Herrera helped guide the leadership transition and supported the acquisition process. He noted that the move reflects years of thoughtful planning to ensure long-term stability for the company’s employees, customers, and partners.

Scott Lauber, President and CFO of ISPN, said the combined strengths of both companies will help expand their managed services portfolio while increasing operational scale.

The announcement, now shared with CIO Bulletin readers, highlights the growing importance of managed services in helping broadband providers improve efficiency and reliability.
