Infosecurity Europe Rolls Out Dedicated Programme to Back Cybersecurity Startups

A new startup-focused programme and innovation zone aim to connect young cyber firms with investors, buyers, and government-backed support.

Infosecurity Europe, one of the UK’s leading cybersecurity events, is placing startups firmly in the spotlight with the launch of a dedicated Cyber Startup Programme. The initiative will debut at the annual conference in London this June and is designed to support early-stage cybersecurity companies as they grow, scale, and enter the wider market.

Organized by RX, the programme will bring startup founders, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders together through a dedicated exhibition space known as the Cyber Startups Zone, alongside tailored content sessions focused on innovation and early growth. The move reflects the rising importance of young, agile companies in tackling increasingly complex cyber threats.

A key highlight will be the Cyber Innovation Zone, delivered in partnership with the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The zone will showcase cutting-edge technologies from micro, small, and medium-sized cybersecurity businesses, many of them backed by government initiatives and research.

“Supporting early-stage innovation is essential to the future of cybersecurity,” said Brad Maule-ffinch, Event Director at Infosecurity Europe. He added that the programme is designed to help startups gain visibility, connect with investors and buyers, and use the event as a launchpad for long-term growth.

Infosecurity Europe has also partnered with UK Cyber Flywheel, an organization focused on building a stronger and more connected UK cyber ecosystem. Together, they will host a Cyber Startup Award, where selected startups will pitch for business support. The winning company will receive a free exhibition stand at Infosecurity Europe 2027, along with branding and PR guidance.

The event will also feature a founder-focused track offering practical advice on branding, scaling, and preparing for growth. Infosecurity Europe 2026 will take place from 2–4 June at ExCeL London, with free registration available until 12 May.
