India’s energy startup innovation initiatives are accelerating as leading state energy enterprises partner with academic incubators to modernize the nation's industrial infrastructure. Under the auspices of the MC² Plus IGNITE initiative at IIT Hyderabad, the two energy majors GAIL and Petronet LNG brought together startup leaders, corporate leaders, and researchers for rapid field deployment. With the help of state-of-the-art digital platforms, it is hoped that existing infrastructure will be converted into smart systems to ensure energy security.
The strategic map that is considered in this context by the CIO Bulletin is all about how to bridge the gap between laboratory models and commercial deployment.
