New eco-friendly water solution aims to cut plastic use and redefine luxury experiences for modern travelers
In a significant step toward greener hospitality, WAE Ltd. has partnered with global hotel brands Radisson and Louvre Hotels Group to introduce sustainable water solutions across the Indian subcontinent. The initiative reflects a growing shift in the travel and hospitality industry toward environmentally responsible practices without compromising on guest experience.
The collaboration focuses on installing in-situ water glass bottling plants within hotel premises. This means water will be purified and bottled directly on-site in reusable glass bottles, reducing the need for single-use plastic and minimizing transportation-related carbon emissions. The approach not only supports sustainability goals but also enhances operational efficiency for hotels.
As highlighted by CIO Bulletin, the move signals how hospitality brands are adapting to changing traveler expectations. Today’s guests are increasingly conscious of environmental impact and prefer brands that actively contribute to sustainability.
A Vikram Joshe, Managing Director of WAE Ltd., emphasized the importance of this transition. “Today’s travelers expect more than comfort, they expect responsibility. This partnership allows us to deliver both, by combining sustainability with a premium guest experience,” he said.
By integrating innovative water infrastructure into hotel operations, WAE Ltd. aims to set a new benchmark for sustainable luxury. The partnership demonstrates how leading hospitality players are rethinking everyday operations to align with global environmental goals. This development marks a broader industry trend where sustainability is no longer an option but a defining factor in shaping the future of travel and hospitality.
