Kia Carnival Receives over 1,800 Bookings on First Day, Sets New Standards in Premium MPV Segment

Kia India's new Carnival MPV brings in massive interest, with 1,822 pre-orders on the first day of bookings, outstanding previous generation's record.

Kia India has announced that its new Carnival MPV has received an awesome response, with over 1,800 bookings on the first day of bookings opening. The company commenced bookings for the Carnival on September 16, with customers able to book the MPV against a payment of Rs 2 lakh. The new Carnival has received 1,822 pre-orders in just 24 hours.

Given that the previous generation Carnival was discontinued more than a year ago, the high number of reservations may be an official indicator of the growing demand for a large luxury MPV. Keeping with Kia's most recent design philosophy, the new Carnival has a stronger and boxy appearance. There are two versions available: Limousine and Limousine Plus. The starting price (ex-showroom) is expected to be around Rs 40 lakhs.

With features like power sliding rear doors, a 12-speaker Bose music system, twin 12.3-inch screens, and Level 2 ADAS technology, the MPV is spacious.  The Limousine Plus version includes features like  Power captain chairs, a head-up display, and many more are added. The Carnival, which will be introduced in India on October 3, 2024, is predicted to completely change the market, with its unique design, loaded-features, and industry-first technologies.
