Available 24/7 on the DBS IDEAL platform, ‘Joy’ combines human expertise with AI intelligence to make corporate banking faster, smarter, and more seamless.
DBS has introduced ‘DBS Joy,’ a new generative AI-powered virtual assistant designed to revolutionize the way corporate clients interact with their bank. Available through DBS’s corporate digital banking platform, IDEAL, the service provides round-the-clock support for a wide range of corporate banking queries, offering instant, intelligent, and reliable assistance anytime, anywhere.
Developed entirely in-house, DBS Joy integrates large language models (LLMs) with the bank’s extensive internal knowledge base, enabling it to understand complex questions and deliver precise answers in real time. When a query requires deeper expertise, the system connects users to a customer service specialist, who is supported by a digital co-pilot for quicker, more informed responses.
DBS plans to gradually roll out Joy across other key markets, including Hong Kong and India, as part of its broader strategy to enhance customer experience through responsible AI innovation.
By blending advanced technology with human insight, DBS Joy reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation and client-first innovation. It marks another step forward in redefining how corporate clients engage with financial services, making banking more efficient, personal, and intuitive than ever before.
