Deepali Naair CMO of CK Birla Group, steps down, leaving behind a legacy at leading companies such as IBM, IIFL, and Mahindra Holidays.
Deepali Naair, the Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the CK Birla Group, has officially exited her role, and the company confirmed this development to Storyboard18. It is not yet known what her next career step will be.
Naair is a highly experienced marketing executive who has been CMO of IBM India & South Asia and, in addition has also headed digital sales in this region as well as JAPAC. She was related to IIFL Wealth Group before IBM, where she had functional leadership responsibility in the marketing domain and was also a member of the board of IIFL Wealth Finance.
She has had a successful marketing career over the years, having served in the capacities of leadership at L&T Insurance, HSBC, Mahindra Holidays (as CMO), and Tata Motors. In the earlier years of her career, Naair worked in important capacities with BPL Mobile, Draft FCB-Ulka and Marico where she was involved in handling brands such as Saffola and Mediker.
As the leader who combines marketing with digital transformation, Naair also records the podcast series Being CEO with Deepali Naair, in which she interviews business leaders on the themes of leadership, strategy, and innovation.
With her exit, Naair leaves a big mark in the Indian CMO pool as the industry awaits to see what the next move will be.
