Seregh acquires ROAR to maintain the management of data analytics and AI in the development of next-generation sports and entertainment districts.
Seregh, the developer of most mixed-use real estate surrounding large sports stadiums, has purchased Revenue Over and Above Replacement (ROAR), which is a firm that specializes in data analytics. The company will be rebranded as ROAR, a Seregh Company, and promote software advancements, which assist sports teams in designing, optimizing, and monetizing entertainment districts that operate all year long.
ROAR will develop Smart Districts as a Service (SmartDaaS), which is an AI-focused system on multifamily stadium districts that uses information analytics to inform planning of big stadiums such as Los Angeles's SoFi Stadium or Atlanta's The Battery. It is aimed at offering next-generation digital models to grow, forecast revenues, and optimize operations.
Delaware North and LionTree recently invested in Seregh with the aim of expanding its footprint in the sports-real-estate ecosystem. Jonathan Fascitelli, the previous CEO, emphasized the company's mission to offer development and capital solutions for stadium projects.
The acquisition enhances the strengths of Seregh and opens the company to the founder of ROAR, Adam Grossman, as its chief analytics officer, and Adam Grossman remains president of ROAR. Adam Grossman's experience will strengthen Seregh's efforts to enter data analysis, intelligent district modeling, and AI-driven development insights.
As sports teams are turning to real estate as a source of long-term revenue, data analytics will become an important part of what is to come of the sports and entertainment districts, making Seregh a critical contributor.
