Radiance Technologies buys Verus Research to achieve growth in defense technology, stimulate progress in cybersecurity, AI, nuclear science and national security.
Radiance Technologies has announced that it has bought XL Scientific which operates as Verus Research, to help improve its defense technology offerings. Verus Research is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and its aim is to improve national security and the abilities of those involved in warfare with scientific and engineering work.
Radiance can now use Verus Research’s knowledge in areas such as cybersecurity, AI, machine learning, energy, space and nuclear science. This will make Radiance’s products stronger for the Department of Defense and intelligence agencies, showing that it is ahead of competitors in inventing modern ways for defense.
Both parties expect to use their existing contact with the DoD to look for new projects and cooperate more. Verus Research will work independently to continue providing excellent service as it expands its technology.
Bill Bailey, CEO of Radiance Technologies, stressed that the acquisition will help in advancing technology for defense. He explained that “working together with Verus Research increases our defense technology expertise and keeps our company employee-owned.”
Grady Patterson, the CEO of Verus Research, referred to the common goal, saying: “The merging of the two companies lets us strengthen our expertise for defending the nation.” Sharing the same values makes us stronger in providing what they require.
Radiance Technologies seeks to strengthen its position in inventing major defense technology required for national safety and future fighting.
