Keolis India Picks Octave’s Attune EAM to Power Pune Metro Line 3 Operations

A smart asset management platform steps in to streamline metro operations, improve reliability, and shape the future of urban transport in Pune.

In a significant move for India’s growing metro infrastructure, Keolis India Pvt. Ltd. has selected Octave’s Attune EAM platform as the core system to manage operations for Pune Metro Line 3. The announcement, reported by CIO Bulletin, highlights how advanced technology is becoming central to modern urban transit.

Pune Metro Line 3, a 23-kilometer corridor with 23 stations, is currently under construction and is expected to transform daily commuting. Connecting the busy Shivajinagar business district to the Hinjewadi IT hub, home to over 150,000 professionals, the line aims to cut travel time and ease traffic congestion in one of Pune’s fastest-growing regions.

To ensure smooth and efficient operations, Keolis India will rely on Attune EAM, a platform designed to manage the full lifecycle of metro assets, from trains and tracks to stations and ticketing systems. Delivered via a cloud-based SaaS model, the system also integrates advanced technologies like Generative AI, helping teams monitor, maintain, and optimize assets in real-time.

The decision follows a detailed evaluation process and builds on Octave’s global experience in metro systems. Notably, the project operates under a Public-Private Partnership model, with Keolis awarded a 10-year contract.

“We are proud to contribute to a project that will improve the lives of thousands while supporting Pune’s economic growth,” said Chanpreet Sahni, Vice President, India at Octave.

As Pune gears up for smarter mobility, this partnership signals a strong step toward more reliable, efficient, and future-ready metro operations.
