The latest Gran Turismo 7 release 1.62 has introduced new awesome concept cars, new events, and additions to get a more exciting racing experience.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital have released Update 1.62 for Gran Turismo 7, which has a new collection of vehicles and interesting concept car additions. Chevrolet provides the eponymous, a racing-only hybrid prototype called the Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo Concept. This concept includes three electric motors and a twin-turbo V8 to combine raw endurance performance with bold aerodynamics and a design that honors the racing heritage of Corvette. Hand in hand with it, the Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept '25 is presented as a hypercar powered by a completely electric power source, which takes futuristic design and performance to the next level.

Sony Honda Mobility has added the AFEELA 1 '26 to the mix. Not a car, but a digital mobility experience with panoramic screens, spatial sound, and AI-tool interactivity, which is going to be launched in 2026. Renault completes the fleet with its own rare coupe-MPV hybrid: the Avantime, which features unusual design and panoramic driving.

Outside of these concept cars, the update will also add new menus in the GT Cafe and more circuit events, along with a new featured location in Scapes called Tokyo Bay, to provide players with even more reasons to fire up their engines.
