Vodafone suffers an extensive IT services failure in the UK, affecting both mobile and broadband connections of millions of its customers nationwide.

Major disruptions on Monday affected thousands of Vodafone customers in the UK when the company outage hit its broadband and mobile networks, affecting millions of people who depended on its IT services.

Downdetector shows that more than 130,000 users complained about the problems with Vodafone broadband and mobile data. The communications giant with over 18 million consumers has affirmed a failure in its 4G and 5G service but has not completely broken down the 2G calls and SMS.

Vodafone apologized in a statement, saying it was recovering its IT services and expressed its apologies for the inconvenience. The users of social media, however, complained that they were unable to communicate with customer support and use the Vodafone webpage and application.

Other IT services that depend on the network of Vodafone were affected by the outage, such as Voxi and Lebara. Cloudflare Radar wrote that the traffic of Vodafone had simply stopped on the net.

Experts in the cyber field indicated that the problem was probably due to a technical factor or configuration mistake and not a cyber-attack.
