Nozomi Networks – Guarding the Lifelines of Global Industry with Robust OT and ICS Protection

StreetLight, transportation analysis platform

Critical infrastructure keeps societies running. Power plants deliver electricity, water systems supply clean drinking water, factories produce essential goods, hospitals care for the sick, and transportation networks move people and materials every day. These systems rely on operational technology and industrial control systems that were never designed for the connected digital world we live in now. When cyber threats reach these environments, the consequences go far beyond data loss. They can halt production, disrupt essential services, endanger public safety, and create cascading failures across entire regions. The stakes have never been higher. Organizations that operate these environments need visibility they can trust, detection that understands industrial protocols, and response capabilities that protect both cyber and physical operations without interrupting critical processes.

Nozomi Networks has built its reputation by meeting exactly these demands. The company stands as a recognized leader in securing operational technology and Internet of Things environments for critical infrastructure. Its platform brings together deep network and endpoint visibility, specialized threat detection, and artificial intelligence that turns complex data into clear, actionable insight.

As operational technology increasingly connects with information technology and IoT devices, that early and sustained focus has given Nozomi Networks a practical understanding of the tools, processes, and constraints that define the largest and most sensitive networks in the world. The result is a global reputation for reliable service, superior visibility into both cyber and physical systems, advanced detection of threats aimed at OT and IoT, and the ability to scale across widely distributed operations.

Seeing Every Asset Before Threats Can Hide

Effective protection begins with knowing what exists on the network. Nozomi Networks delivers real-time visibility across OT, IoT, and connected IT assets, giving security and operations teams a single, accurate picture of their environment. Sensors work passively and actively across wired, wireless, endpoint, and remote connections, collecting the detailed information needed to identify devices, understand their behavior, and map how they interact. This level of clarity extends to legacy equipment that often lacks modern security features and to proprietary industrial protocols that standard IT tools cannot interpret. With this foundation, teams can manage exposure proactively, locate vulnerabilities before attackers do, and maintain an up-to-date inventory even as networks grow and change. The platform supports monitoring of more than 115 million devices across more than 12,000 installations worldwide, proving it can handle the scale of the largest organizations while remaining practical for complex, multi-site deployments.

Detecting and Stopping Threats That Understand Industrial Reality

Visibility alone is not enough. Threats that target operational technology behave differently from those aimed at traditional IT systems. They may exploit industrial protocols, seek to disrupt physical processes, or move laterally through environments where downtime is unacceptable. Nozomi Networks addresses this reality with purpose-built detection and response capabilities. Continuous monitoring combined with AI-powered analysis identifies anomalous behavior specific to OT and IoT environments. The platform correlates signals across the network and endpoints to surface genuine risks quickly and with context that helps teams respond effectively. When an incident occurs, the same visibility that supports detection also accelerates investigation and containment, reducing the chance that a security event becomes an operational outage. This approach helps organizations stay in control of their critical infrastructure rather than reacting after damage has already occurred.

Building Measurable Resilience and Meeting the Highest Standards

Security programs for critical infrastructure must do more than stop attacks. They need to demonstrate reduced risk, support compliance with demanding regulations, and prove that operations can continue even under stress. Nozomi Networks turns visibility and detection into measurable outcomes. Teams gain quantified insight into cyber risk reduction and receive practical guidance for prioritizing actions that strengthen resilience. The platform aligns with rigorous frameworks, including guidance on zero trust principles adapted specifically for operational technology environments. It provides the OT-native visibility, behavior analytics, and threat detection required while integrating smoothly with identity, access, endpoint, and security operations tools already in use. This combination helps organizations move beyond checklist compliance toward a lasting architecture that accounts for safety, reliability, and the unique constraints of industrial systems. Centralized cloud management further simplifies oversight of distributed sites, allowing consistent policy and monitoring without sacrificing local operational needs.

Trusted Across Industries That Cannot Afford Disruption

The organizations that rely on Nozomi Networks operate in sectors where continuity is non-negotiable. Electric utilities, oil and gas facilities, manufacturing plants, healthcare systems, water and wastewater operations, airports, rail networks, maritime environments, mining sites, pharmaceutical production, smart cities, and retail operations all depend on the platform. These customers choose Nozomi Networks because the technology respects the operational realities of their environments while delivering the security depth required to counter sophisticated threats. A broad partner ecosystem of leading IT security firms, industrial automation vendors, and cloud providers extends the reach of the solutions, and thousands of certified professionals ensure that deployments match the specific needs of each site. The result is consistent customer retention and a proven ability to help large enterprises anticipate risks, diagnose issues, and respond in ways that protect both security and operations.

Nozomi Networks continues to refine its platform around the principle that critical infrastructure deserves protection designed for its unique challenges. By combining unmatched visibility, industrial-aware detection, AI-driven insight, and scalable architecture, the company gives operators the confidence that essential services can keep running even as cyber threats evolve. In an environment where the cost of disruption grows every year, that combination of deep technical capability and practical operational understanding makes a decisive difference. Organizations that protect the systems society depends on need partners who understand both the technology and the stakes. Nozomi Networks has earned that role through sustained focus, proven results, and a platform built to keep the world’s most important operations secure and resilient.
