Rishi Kapoor enters WPP Media to head South Asian talent because he has years in top management consulting companies.

Rishi Kapoor has been selected as the Head of Talent Acquisition and Resource Management, South Asia, at WPP Media, which is the global media collective under the WPP umbrella. His prior experience of developing and leading a talent strategy in the leading management consulting firms can strongly fit into this new position.

Most recently, Kapoor was Vice President, APAC, Talent Acquisition and Staffing at Material, a multinational management consulting and business services firm in Australia. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry and other organizations include Corbus, Publicis Sapient, and Techroots Solutions.

Kapoor started and was later developed to the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at Publicis Sapient, one of the leading concerns in management consulting and digital transformation. He has developed a strategic direction for others in his career, which included hiring practices, management of the team, and managing vendors.

The fact that WPP Media decided to bring on board Kapoor is an indicator of its efforts to fine-tune HR and talent-based activities in South Asia, even as management consulting and communications firms continue to fight tooth-and-nail in a bid to acquire competent personnel.

Kapoor, with his hard-earned skills and considerate management, is likely to contribute greatly to the regional talent strategy of WPP.
