Microsoft and Yotta Partner to Boost AI Innovation in India

Microsoft and Yotta are working together to increase the use of AI, supplying effective, safe and scalable solutions to leading sectors in India.

Microsoft and Yotta Data Services have teamed up to help speed up AI innovation in India and participate in the IndiaAI Mission. The combination of Microsoft’s Azure AI and Yotta’s Shakti Cloud makes it possible for developers, startups, enterprises and public sector organizations to use advanced AI services.

With the new partnership, AI can be used in important sectors such as healthcare, finance, agriculture, manufacturing and retail, as EdgeMarket provides extremely swift compute power. Yotta’s advanced GPU services are now supporting Microsoft’s AI initiatives and programs, so the country can better depend on AI.

Puneet Chandok, Microsoft India and South Asia President, stressed that the collaboration helps unlock AI opportunities at a large scale while focusing on what India needs. Shakti Cloud will offer Microsoft’s full platform to its users, so they have important language models, security measures and safety tools for relaxing their AI deployment.

Sunil Gupta, who is CEO of Yotta Data Services, points out that the partnership makes advanced artificial intelligence available to every Indian-based business.

This partnership fits into Microsoft’s wider goal of inspiring inclusive growth and developing technology in India. Previously, Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella revealed AI Centres of Excellence which aim to boost India’s AI environment in 2025. Working as a team, Microsoft and Yotta are helping create a reliable, flexible and secure hybrid AI future in India.
