Recycling And Waste Management

ciobulletin - Netel India and ORS Join Hands for Waste Projects

Netel India and ORS have been working together to increase recycling and waste management projects and they are geared towards biogas and energy-from-waste solutions.

Netel India, a company of Neterwala Group has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Organic Recycling Systems (ORS) to spread future recycling and waste management activities in India. The joint venture shall focus on solid waste management and waste-to-energy deals that shall be organized as Public-Private Partnership (PPP) or Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC).

An important point of the cooperation is solutions such as Compressed Biogas(CBG) production and the conversion of RDF to energy. The engineering and technical work on recycling and other wastes will be spearheaded by ORS especially the organic waste processing. In the meantime, Netel India will be in charge of project funding and overseeing.

The alliance will also improve the current environmental facilities in Netel by taking up the modern biogas technologies of ORS. The action will support an increase in the operational efficiency and a higher environmental performance.

According to some of the leaders of the two organizations, strategic partnerships were critical in the following path to solve the increasing recycling and waste management issues in India. As the pressure is being put on reforming the system of waste treatment and reaching renewable energy targets, this cooperation preconditions the development of influential and scalable activities.
