AI cloud start-up Neysa broadens the Velocis platform with GPT-OSS models, enabling developers and enhancing the AI sovereignty of India with a funding of 50M.
Neysa, an AI cloud service startup, has declared the addition of the newest GPT-OSS models to its Velocis cloud platform together with the most prevalent AI model groups, including Llama, DeepSeek, Qwen, and Mistral. The Mumbai-based startup claimed that the shift enables enterprises to choose the models that will fit their use directions and also provides data sovereignty with the help of local storage and air-gapped solutions.
Co-founder and CEO of Neysa Sharad Sanghi stressed that it is necessary to create the future of AI in India on domestic infrastructure. He said that with the introduction of world-class models such as GPT-OSS into our Velocis, we are demonstrating that high-quality AI can be hosted and scaled out in India entirely.
The Velocis platform of the startup now provides access to high-performance deployments of advanced models, such as GPT-OSS-120B and GPT-OSS-20B. There are also highly specialized versions like GPTQ and AutoRound to increase custom workload.
This was the second venture of Sanghi following Netmagic Solutions, which was founded in 2024 as Neysa. The startup has already obtained 50 million dollars of investment from investors such as NTTVC, Z47 and Nexus Venture Partners. In the growth, Neysa seeks to make India self-reliant in AI and enable the developers to have transparent, scalable and cost-effective AI solutions.
