The third season of Star Wars: Visions presents brand new animated tales which blend Japanese anime animation with creative global perspectives.
Disney+ announced a renewal of Star Wars: Visions Season 3 which will premiere its episodes starting April 29. The upcoming volume of Star Wars: Visions will resume three popular stories from the previous installment beginning with "The Duel" and "The Village Bride" and "The Ninth Jedi." Star Wars: Visions premiered with Japanese anime before expanding its second season through animation production partnerships among studios in Japan, the United States, India and Spain.
The upcoming third season will lead Star Wars: Visions into a fresh direction which provides extended and deeper narratives for creators to delve into stories exceeding previous season runtimes. Anime storytelling continues to serve as a central element in Visions because it allows the project to pay tribute to Star Wars through animated storytelling methods derived from Japan.
