IDAB Honors Bangladesh’s Best Interior Designers

In an attempt to enhance presence by specializing in financial services public relations, PentEdge chooses to collaborate with William Mills Agency.

The Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) has acknowledged more remarkable works in the field of architecture and interior design in Bangladesh by releasing the IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award 2024. The ceremony, which was held at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka, was the first formal national awarding of the best interior designers in terms of four categories.

The event involved top professionals in the fields of architecture and interior design, as well as scholars, leaders of institutions, and special guests. Syed Kamrul Ahsan, the president of IDAB, emphasized that the smart, fast-changing interior design and architecture landscape in Bangladesh amalgamates creativity, modern methods, and cultural background to meet international standards.

It was noted that speakers identified emerging talent development and the need to ensure structured industry development. Award committee presentations provided details on how the competition would be evaluated, and jury members and sector leaders, such as Institute of Architects Bangladesh and BUET representatives, provided their perspectives on how the design excellence progress could be improved.

The awards were given in the categories of residence, corporate, hospitality and retail, and they designated designers who are influencing the future of Bangladesh's architecture and interior design industry. Respected guests, which included Architect Shamsul Wares, Architect Abu Sayeed M. Ahmed and industry partners, attended the ceremony.

With partners such as InterContinental Dhaka, Gasdom, Asian Paints, Marble De Carrara and Wood Tech Solution Ltd., the event helped IDAB in its assertion of professional standards and glorification of innovation in architecture and interior design in Bangladesh.
