After her residence in Munich, Adele announced she was taking a break from music to focus on her art and move away from the spotlight.

In a recent interview with German broadcaster ZDF, Adele explicitly declared her decision to take a long break from the industry of music, stating a lack of creative inspiration. Known for her deep voice and number-one albums, the singer said her "tank is quite empty at the minute" and that she does not currently have any plans to release new music.

Adele gave an explanation for her choice, stating that she wanted to pursue other artistic endeavors after finishing a ten-date residence in Munich. She stated that she liked taking a temporary break from the spotlight and highlighted the importance of recharging artistically. Adele expressed discomfort about popularity despite her passion for music-making, saying, "I don't like being famous."

Adele has taken pauses in the past in order to rekindle her creative spark. Her previous albums, "21" and "25," were preceded by periods of public distancing, which enabled her to come back with a fresh perspective and positive reviews.

Adele informed her fans that her work isn't her major emphasis in life, referring to it as a hobby rather than her main endeavor, so they shouldn't be concerned. Her choice demonstrates a sensible perspective on both creative fulfillment and celebrity.
