The Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru currently feature Peruvian art and music alongside gold jewelry, and an informative virtual reality tour.
The Australian Museum will open its doors to the new exhibition dedicated to Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru, revealing the fascinating Art & Music that ancient Peru has to offer. The exhibition features 134 pieces of ancient artifacts including but not limited to golden and silver ornaments, fabrics and pots which give insights into the social and spiritual aspects of the Inca civilization.
Art & Music of Peru allows room for even the quip, which was an ancient statistical cum narrative recording device used in places where there was no form of writing such as in most of Peru. The exhibition also provides insights towards the concept of the civilizations that existed from the Chavin across the Incas and most significantly how art, trade, and agriculture evolved in this case.
The museum showcases Inca treasures made of gold, highlighting artistic skills in creating ornaments and religious items. A virtual reality experience allows visitors to "fly" over Machu Picchu, providing a unique perspective on the ancient city and expanding the exploration of Inca art and music.
The Sydney exhibition, led by museum director Kim McKay, aims to draw over 250,000 visitors with its virtual reality experience showcasing ancient Peruvian artifacts and civilization. Audiences were captivated by the display of Peruvian riches and the creativity of ancient cultures, making the exhibition a must-see event in the Travel & Tourism cycle.
