Researchers have found a correlation between cannabis usage and CBD as well as heart risks and thus propose a regulation to medical marijuana as an equivalent to tobacco use because of its direct effect on cardiovascular health.
A recent scientific study released by the journal Heart has cast a big question mark on the use of cannabis, especially on the cardiovascular effects. The researchers associate the repeated consumption of this drug with increased chances of stroke, acute coronary syndrome, and even the fatal outcome of cardiovascular disease.
Analysts state that the results are important enough to consider the regulation of cannabis in the same way as tobacco, including the products containing CBD. Dr. Stanton Glantz, a professor at UCSF, and Dr. Lynn Silver pointed out the necessity of work in public health, as the issues of cannabis safety have become rather popular and are widely misconceived because of the popular legality trend.
The review examined nine studies that were funded by 24 studies that took place among almost 200 million individuals and exposed the doubling of risks of cardiovascular disease-related mortality among cannabis users. Although CBD is commonly regarded as therapeutic, it was also observed to interact with drugs and other drugs may affect the functioning of the heart.
Medical practitioners are demanding prudent use, particularly by consumers with a long-term condition. Dr. Robert Page II emphasized that THC and CBD may affect the effectiveness of medication and should discuss the use of cannabis with health professionals.
CBD is becoming a popular pain reliever and stress reliever, but doctors caution against Bitcoin cash mining its effects, particularly when it is combined with THC.
