Safex Group Names Richa Malhotra as CFO to Drive Next Phase of Financial Growth

Safex Chemicals has appointed Richa Malhotra as its Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), marking a significant move as the company gears up for its next phase of growth. The development was highlighted by CIO Bulletin as a strategic step aligned with the company’s expanding global ambitions.

In her new role, Malhotra will oversee Safex’s financial strategy, capital planning, and governance framework. Her appointment comes at a crucial time when the company is scaling its presence across specialty chemicals and agrochemicals markets worldwide.

A Chartered Accountant and a graduate of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, Malhotra brings more than two decades of experience across business finance, corporate banking, and strategic planning. She previously served as Executive Director, Financial Markets at Standard Chartered Bank, where she led high-performing teams across India and Sri Lanka.

Her expertise spans capital structuring, treasury management, risk assessment, and financial market-driven solutions. Over the years, she has worked closely with a wide range of clients—from large global corporations to emerging businesses—helping them navigate complex financial landscapes.
