Dean Kessel takes the role of CMO at Legacy Motor Club after accumulating 25 years of expertise in motorsports marketing and strategic partnerships.
Legacy Motor Club introduced Dean Kessel as their recently hired Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Kessel's 25 years in senior sports marketing leadership qualifies him to bring the team toward greater NASCAR Cup Series visibility.
At his previous role Kessel took charge of the highly recognizable INDYCAR sponsorship with Chip Ganassi Racing while being the American Legion’s CMO. At Sprint and Lowe’s he guided Sprint through its $100 million NASCAR Sprint Cup Series sponsorship and negotiated scoring rights for Charlotte Motor Speedway.
As CMO at Legacy Motor Club Kessel leads the organization in developing all marketing programs alongside sponsorship events and brand implementation initiatives. His extensive motorsports marketing know-how combined with partnership development skills will boost fan engagement outcomes at the team.
The Legacy Motor Club team co-owner Jimmie Johnson announced his enthusiasm for adding Dean to their family.
