Auterion Secures $130M to Boost Defense Technology Systems

Auterion raises $130M to scale defense technology platforms for autonomous drones spanning air, land, and sea.

Auterion, the leading autonomous systems software provider, has raised US$130 million in Series B financing, led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The funding reflects increasing investor confidence in advanced defense technology solutions for increasing the autonomy of operations in several domains.

Existing investors Lakestar, Mosaic Ventures, and Costanoa Ventures also took part, with US$25 million coming in the form of non-dilutive capital facilitated by the US government Department of War. As part of the deal, Bessemer partner Alex Ferrara will be an Auterion board member.

The investment will advance the development of AuterionOS and the Nemyx defense system, which is targeted at coordinating fleets of autonomous drones throughout air, land, and sea. These platforms are capable of a big leap in defense technology, as they allow for better operational efficiency and coordination in the use of weapons in a military regime.

According to Auterion, the new capital will amplify its capacities for scaling up in a global manner: "This will ensure their systems are at the forefront of innovation in autonomous defense operations."

By pushing forward with its platforms, the company is trying to set new standards in the field of defense technology by fusing software intelligence with new-age drone systems to meet the evolving needs of modern warfare.
