Daida Acquires Scan-Optics to Expand Intelligent Document Capture Platform

Daida’s acquisition of Scan-Optics strengthens its intelligent document capture capabilities, adding decades of expertise to its digital automation platform.

The acquisition of Scan-Optics, a Manchester, Connecticut-based leader in intelligent document capture processing, managed capture services, and digital transformation, was announced by Daida, a nationwide provider of business process services and document digitization, digital workflow, and enterprise content management services. Under the control of HiGro Group and its affiliates, this is Daida's sixth add-on acquisition. The second acquisition was finished in early 2026.

Since its founding in 1968, Scan-Optics has become one of the most reputable brands in document management and digital transformation, providing services to state and local governments, universities, financial services companies, and other clients in the regulated industry for over 50 years. Significant client density in the Northeast, a high-capacity production facility, and a skilled sales and delivery staff are all added to Daida's national platform by the acquisition.
