Arivihan receives 4.17M and has reached out to offer its AI-based EdTech services to students in the area as such through offering cost-effective and highly customized exam-preparation programs.
Arivihan, a startup based out of Indore, has received funding of 4.17 million dollars with the round led by investment firm Prosus, which has been joined by Accel and GSF Investors. It is expected that the funding will propel the growth of Arivihan to three other states within India and speed up its abilities in AI research and working with local language.
Arivihan was founded to help in test preparation such as State Board, CBSE and NEET examinations, through a fully automated, AI-driven learning platform for school-going students in Tier II, Tier III, and rural areas. The EdTech platform has a monthly subscription of only 300 rupees, and it customizes content based on a learner and their syllabus and level of understanding.
Initially introduced to the students of Class 12 in Madhya Pradesh, Arivihan has since been extended to Rajasthan and now Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh are also targeted. It utilizes AI that has been specifically fine-tuned on millions of data points, such as the curriculum, allowing it to provide context-driven replies in both Hindi and Hinglish.
Looking forward to recruiting as many as 100,000 new subscribers this year, Arivihan is quickly becoming one of the most successful over-served area EdTech innovators. It is its second funding milestone with an earlier-said 750,000 being raised through Accel Atoms seed program.
Dhruv Gupta of Prosus said, “Arivihan is doing so at the point of most value, which is bringing quality education within reach of students in geographically underserved areas.”
