CES 2026 Brings Next-Gen Gadgets to Market

CES presents gadgets that are about to be bought in AR, gaming, e-reading, and smart charging technologies.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has again given attention to the future of gadgets, and some of the developments are now offered to the consumers instead of being showcased as concepts. Augmented reality eyewear and compact gaming accessories were just a few examples that were highlighted at CES 2026 as practical technology to be used in everyday life.

The Xreal 1S AR glasses, in which increased brightness, resolution, and field of view were provided at a more affordable price of under $500, were among these shining gadgets. The glasses are productivity-focused and entertainment-oriented, and they will be able to have access to smartphones and game controllers, which makes them an excellent solution among the proposed items to be used by travelers and remote employees.

The other product that was launched is the DuRoBo Krono e-reader, which is a smartphone-like device that merges reading with music and note-taking. The inclusion of a physical dial and voice transcription powered by AI are what make it stand out from the touch-only-based devices of the past that are happening because of the way gadgets are combining physical design with AI.

Gaming technologies also played a role, and the Ohsnap Mcon controller was a game controller that made smartphones portable gaming devices by using a magnetic, fold-up design. In the meantime, the Even Realities got light and smarter G2 smart glasses that have concept-based AI overlays.

To close the event well, Anker also introduced the Nano 45W charger with a real-time smart display, which further strengthened the theme that everyday gadgets keep on advancing in the context of convenience, portability, and efficiency.
