anuvadini ai and mathzoro partner for regional language ai math learning

Bridging the linguistic divide in education through an innovative partnership that combines gamified logic with advanced translation to empower students across india

The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), which operates under the Ministry of Education, established a partnership with MathZoro, which functions as a game-based mathematics learning platform for students in Classes VI to X. Buddha Chandrasekhar, who holds the positions of CEO at Anuvadini AI and Chief Coordinator Officer at AICTE, Ministry of Education, presented the partnership at the AICTE Headquarters in New Delhi. The collaboration uses AI to develop personalized interactive learning experiences that help students build their conceptual understanding of math through regional language AI math learning. The initiative creates alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 because it establishes technology-based programs that improve literacy and numeracy for all student groups who need to acquire essential educational skills.

Integration of AI and Gamification
At its core, the partnership rests on the real-time multilingual delivery of the MathZoro application. Students can access live STEM educational content without page reloads in their preferred languages without having to switch applications for different languages. Importantly, this is intended to be a multilingual experience powered by a single integration serving all 22 scheduled Indian and 89 foreign languages. Additionally, the partnership also envisages the natural progression of students beyond class X and provides for “Anuvadini Pariksha”, an AI-powered exam preparation platform developed by Anuvadini AI to help students prepare for competitive examinations in the same language they selected for exam preparations up to the secondary level. Together, MathZoro and Anuvadini Pariksha will create a seamless academic journey for students from the foundational level all the way to university education.

Assessments in Regional Languages

Among the most important features of the integration is its role in creating curriculum-aligned assessments in regional languages. Anuvadini AI’s Question Paper Creator automatically creates chapter-wise examination questions aligned with CBSE, ICSE, and all state board curricula across various languages and graded difficulty levels. With MathZoro, the platform will assist students and their parents in monitoring their learning progression by providing:

  • auto-generated chapter-end tests

  • full-length board-aligned practice papers, and

  • adaptive assessments.

Teachers can enhance students’ learning outcomes by specifying particular chapters, difficulty level, question type, and preferred language.

Alignment with NEP 2020

The MathZoro and Anuvadini AI partnership structurally aligns with the NEP 2020 across multiple dimensions, such as mother-tongue-based instruction, prioritizing conceptual understanding over rote memorization, and equitable access across geographies, among others. According to Chandrasekhar, “MathZoro is a natural expression of Anuvadini AI’s mission, where technology is deployed to make learning equitable, accessible, and empowering for every child, regardless of the language they speak or the region they live in.” CIO Bulletin views this partnership as an innovative way to channelize children’s mobile phone usage towards making mathematics more accessible and engaging for them.
