Google Unveils AI-Powered Pixel 10 Smartphones

Google introduces Pixel 10 smartphones with sophisticated AI features such as Magic Cue and Camera Coach to compete with Apple and Samsung over ingenuity.

Google has launched a new line of Pixel 10 smartphones that come with superior artificial intelligence postulated to revolutionize user experiences. The four models, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold implement AI features that give Apple's limited iPhone updates a run for their money.

Among the novelties is the ability of Google to deliver real-time prompts using Google AI magic cues that display data from Gmail or Google Calendar before the user requests it. The phones also introduce the so-called Camera Coach that provides real-time advice on framing, lighting, and lens choices, and their high-end models also support Super Res zoom up to 100x resolution.

Google has further decided to provide customers with a free subscription of 1 year of its AI Pro plan to attract them to adopt its Gemini toolkit to give ChatGPT a run. Prices continue to match last year's Pixel 9 series, with the Pixel 9 going at 800 dollars, the Pro XL at 1200 dollars, and the foldable model at 1800 dollars.

The AI-centered technology is at the heart of Google, with the company posing more threats to Apple and Samsung as it competes in the market of smartphones. The Pixel's innovations show Google as an AI-first company, say analysts.

The Pixel 10 series will be released on August 28 in stores and on October 9, the foldable model will go on sale.
