Medical science is undergoing a profound transformation, and at the heart of this revolution is Encare—an innovator seamlessly bridging the gap between research and real-world application. More than just a MedTech company, Encare is reshaping perioperative care by empowering healthcare professionals with data-driven protocols and cutting-edge digital tools. As hospitals worldwide strive for efficiency, safety, and improved recovery, Encare provides the digital infrastructure necessary to turn medical advancements into tangible patient benefits.
Pioneering Digitalization in Perioperative Care
Founded in 2009, Encare has been instrumental in the global adoption of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS®) protocols, developed under the scientific supervision of the ERAS® Society. With a mission to lead the digitalization of medical science and transform research into best clinical practice, Encare has significantly impacted healthcare outcomes by reducing complications, shortening hospital stays, and improving the overall quality of life for surgical patients. Operating at the intersection of medical research and technology, the company ensures that the latest evidence-based practices are accessible and implementable across healthcare institutions worldwide.
By digitalizing the ERAS® protocols, Encare has made them widely available to healthcare professionals, ensuring their application leads to measurable improvements in patient care. Through an intuitive digital platform, the company empowers hospitals, clinicians, and perioperative teams to optimize care pathways, enhance recovery processes, and achieve superior clinical outcomes.
Empowering Healthcare Professionals through Innovation
Encare’s flagship solution, the ERAS® Interactive Audit System (EIAS), serves as an interactive and user-friendly platform for seamless data collection, documentation, and monitoring of critical performance and quality parameters. Designed in collaboration with leading clinical experts, EIAS facilitates real-time feedback and performance analysis, allowing healthcare providers to drive continuous improvements in efficiency and patient care.
Complementing EIAS, the ERAS® Implementation Program (EIP) provides structured training and implementation support to ensure healthcare teams successfully integrate ERAS® protocols into their daily practice. Led by expert clinicians from the ERAS® Society, this program equips medical professionals with the knowledge, tools, and guidance necessary to maintain high compliance with best perioperative care standards.
The impact of Encare’s solutions extends beyond the hospital setting. For patients, adherence to ERAS® protocols translates into fewer complications, reduced postoperative pain, faster recovery, and an improved overall healthcare experience. For healthcare institutions, it fosters professionalism, increases job satisfaction among medical staff, and generates substantial cost savings by optimizing surgical pathways and reducing hospital readmissions.
A Commitment to Excellence and Shared Knowledge
Encare operates on a foundation of core values that drive its mission and define its impact on the medical community. The company believes in the power of shared knowledge, recognizing that ERAS® is built on the principle of exchanging data and outcomes for the collective benefit of patients, healthcare professionals, and hospital systems.
Through continuous knowledge compilation, acceleration, and dissemination, Encare ensures that patients remain at the center of perioperative care. Multidisciplinary cooperation is a key pillar of its approach, emphasizing the importance of communication, collaboration, and seamless information flow between medical teams. This holistic approach not only enhances patient outcomes but also contributes to a more cohesive and efficient healthcare ecosystem.
Moreover, Encare embraces change and innovation, systematically integrating scientific advancements into its platform to refine perioperative care methodologies. By continuously evaluating and incorporating the latest research, the company ensures its solutions remain at the cutting edge of medical science, delivering superior outcomes for patients and providers alike.
Transforming Healthcare with Data-Driven Insights
One of the most compelling aspects of Encare’s approach is its emphasis on data-driven decision-making. The ERAS® Flash Audit, a specialized feature within the EIAS platform, enables hospitals and healthcare teams to quickly assess their compliance with ERAS® protocols. By identifying gaps and areas for improvement, the Flash Audit provides actionable insights that drive better patient outcomes and increased operational efficiency. This rapid assessment tool is instrumental in demonstrating the benefits of full ERAS® implementation, offering a clear roadmap for healthcare institutions to enhance their perioperative care strategies.
Beyond individual hospital applications, Encare’s digital platform facilitates large-scale improvements in perioperative care by standardizing best practices across multiple institutions. The platform's ability to aggregate, analyze, and benchmark data ensures that hospitals and surgical teams can continuously refine their approaches, leading to long-term improvements in healthcare delivery.
Leading the Future of MedTech in 2025 and Beyond
As the global healthcare industry moves toward greater digitalization and evidence-based practices, Encare remains at the forefront of this transformation. By pioneering the integration of digital tools with surgical best practices, the company is setting new standards in perioperative care and driving lasting change in patient recovery and hospital efficiency.
With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Encare is poised to shape the future of MedTech, making it a standout company to watch in 2025. By seamlessly bridging scientific research with practical application, Encare ensures that hospitals and healthcare professionals can confidently implement the most effective perioperative care strategies.
