SonicWall will offer weighted solutions to its managed services offerings, improved management of SOC-based solutions, and the SonicSentry suite that allows MSPs and MSSPs to enhance resilience in the face of cyber-attacks.
SonicWall has taken a significant step towards its transition to the status of a cybersecurity platform designed to serve Managed Services Providers (MSPs) and Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs). To spearhead this change, the company has announced the appointment of Michael Crean, the founder of MSSP Solution Granted, as General Manager of the Managed Security Services Division.
Managed services are becoming a key part of SonicWall as the speed of cyber threats is increasing. The division will provide co-managed and fully managed solutions, including its SonicSentry™ suite, which offers Managed Detection and Response (MDR) across endpoints, networks, and the cloud. These services, supported by SonicWall's global Security Operations Center (SOC), provide constant monitoring and quick response.
Managed services are no longer optional anymore; they are imperative, said Bob VanKirk, President and CEO of SonicWall. This solution enables MSPs and MSSPs to provide MSSPs with scalable real-time protection.
The Managed Protection Security Suite (MPSS) also provides an opportunity to manage firewalls cost-effectively, report on compliance, and access a $200,000 cyber warranty per device that is managed.
SonicWall's managed service business has already demonstrated success, with one MSSP reporting a 60 percent reduction in phishing attacks following the implementation of SonicSentry.
As intelligent technology, fully managed by SOCs 24/7, and neutral integration allow SonicWall to become a reliable partner in cybersecurity, helping organizations of all sizes to move up a level in terms of security, to the proactive one.
