K1 Backs Major Enterprise Software Combination

K1 announces a strategic software integration that enhances the AI-centered platform in the government and industrial marketplace.

K1 Investment Management has declared that its portfolio company TechnoMile has joined with SIMS Software, which is a very big move in the enterprise software sphere. Capitol Meridian Partners guided the transaction and can be considered as the sixth realization by K1 over the last 12 months.

In 2019, K1 started to collaborate with TechnoMile to partner and grow among its products and deep-scale introduction of AI into its core software platform and workflow with customers with founder and CEO Ashish Khot. It was the first deal of K1 out of the 2021 fund, and it's the only institutional investment to date.

TechnoMile is a category-leading software provider to government contractors with annual recurring revenues more than 4 times its investment by K1 and established itself as a top vendor since the investment in the company by K1. In the present day the company is assisting over 250 organizations, including half of the top ten governmental contractors in the United States.

The partnership with the SIMS software unites complementary strengths in government-centric software and industrial security software with the upswing demand in artificial intelligence software used. K1 observed that the sustained attention by public and private acquirers underscores the increased strategic importance of scalable, category-leading enterprise software platforms.
