The Chiefs close out the Hopkins deal with a draft pick, the Titans trade wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the defending Super Bowl Champions.

The Tennessee Titans are attempting to complete the trade of wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs near the trade deadline. The deal which is expected to be completed by Wednesday will see the Titans get a fifth-round pick in 2025 which may upgrade to a fourth-round pick if the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl and Hopkins fits in 60 percent of the snaps.

Chiefs head Coach Andy Reid did not offer any comments regarding the trade but said that chief manager Brett Veach was working on it. The Chiefs are in as much dire need of a dependable receiver again as they were after Rashee Rice, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster’s unfortunate incidents.
