Airtime: Phil Libin’s Startup Launches New Video Tools

Phil Libin introduces new tools through a rebranded Airtime startup which helps users customize video meetings for better engagement in meetings.

Phil Libin rebranded his video startup Evernote into Airtime so he could launch innovative tools which improve virtual meeting capabilities. The software collection consisting of Airtime Creator and Airtime Camera functions to create more interactive and professional video meetings.

Users can use Airtime Creator to give presentations with slides that display a maximum of 10 participants at once. Users of Airtime Camera have access to customizable virtual appearance features which enable background transformations with logo insertion and visual communication capabilities. The integrated system works across the major video conferencing applications including Zoom, Teams, Meet and Webex.

The startup provides Airtime Camera without charge until August 2025 when it will become available for purchase as a single payment of $20. Users of Airtime Creator pay $10 per month for the service while trials can be accessed free of charge.

The release of Airtime demonstrates how video conferencing technology has advanced from proprietary and expensive solutions to become general-purpose software. The years have introduced democratic remote communication through affordable software development which replaced original costly hardware systems.

The startup sector maintains its commitment to solve remote communication problems by making virtual engagement become more social and active through Airtime's recent tool additions. The recent Airtime system modifications have made the platform an essential element in advancing the development of modern virtual meeting technology.
