New intelligent tools aim to help businesses cut delays, reduce costs, and respond faster to disruptions
At Oracle AI World in Mumbai, Oracle introduced a powerful new set of AI agents designed to transform how companies manage their supply chains. Built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, these intelligent digital assistants are created to help supply chain leaders make faster decisions, reduce risk, and improve day-to-day operations.
Modern supply chains are more complex than ever. Delays, shortages, rising costs, and global disruptions have made efficiency and resilience top priorities for businesses. Oracle’s new AI agents are embedded directly into planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and service workflows, helping teams automate tasks that once required hours of manual work.
“As supply chains grow more complex and disruptions become more frequent, organizations need faster, more automated ways to keep operations moving,” said Chris Leone, Executive Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle. He explained that the AI agents help leaders reduce manual errors, optimize resources, and resolve issues before they escalate.
The AI agents can automate competitive supplier bidding, estimate maintenance costs, identify aging inventory, assign warehouse tasks, convert purchase orders into sales orders, and even recommend the right service parts for repairs. By analyzing real-time data and offering clear recommendations, they allow teams to act quickly and confidently. Running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the agents come with built-in security and are available within Oracle Fusion Applications at no additional cost.
With this move, Oracle is positioning AI not as a futuristic concept, but as a practical tool, helping supply chain leaders stay efficient, adaptable, and ready for whatever challenges come next.
