VALANX Strengthens Leadership for BioTech Expansion

VALANX Biotech appoints a new board to expedite ADC development and to take its GoldenSite technology to clinical and commercial development levels.

At the time of the company's shift in research operations to clinical development and technology commercialization, VALANX Biotech has set its Board of Directors. The acquisition is a milestone move that could enhance its relationships in the BioTech industry, especially after it develops its GoldenSite site-specific conjugation system of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).

The new board consists of highly experienced leaders in the BioTech world, global and commercialization, oncology, and life-science creation. The Board will be led by Michael Boehler, MD, a former executive at BioNTech, as he has over twenty-five years of experience in scaling voluminous biopharmaceutical programs. His history as the head of the initiation of the first mRNA COVID-19 vaccine highlights his expansive experience in high-growth BioTech settings.

The other appointees are Dr. Alexander Schwartz, who is a strategist and life-science investor; Dr. Urs Spitz, a veteran of the industry who created businesses based on the worldwide provision of raw materials; and Ingo S. Nagler, who is an experienced biotech investor and former executive at BIA Separations. The two directors work together to enable the support of VALANX towards refining therapeutic design, increasing its ADC pipeline, and readying potential clinical milestones.

According to the foundation and CEO Michael Lukesch, technological advancements in the company have put the company in a position whereby they can produce therapeutic conjugates that are safer and more precise. Boehler also provided that the new ADC platform developed by VALANX fulfills an acute medical demand and will lead the way in the development of the company in BioTech markets.
