Strategic leadership elevation positions Aon to power the next era of global risk solutions
Global professional services firm Aon has named Nick Fraccalvieri as Chief Executive Officer of its Global Facultative Reinsurance business, effective 1 March 2026. The appointment marks an important leadership transition within the company’s reinsurance solutions platform.
Fraccalvieri, who joined Aon in 2023 to lead its EMEA facultative operations, now steps into a global leadership role. With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, he has built a strong track record across regional and international markets. During his time at Aon, he led significant growth across the EMEA facultative segment, strengthening client relationships and expanding market presence.
He succeeds Andrew Laing, who has overseen the global facultative business for a decade. Laing will now focus entirely on his responsibilities as UK CEO of reinsurance solutions while continuing as global chair of facultative. Andy Marcell, CEO of Global Solutions at Aon, praised the transition, noting that Fraccalvieri’s market expertise will help drive the next phase of growth.
In his new role, Fraccalvieri will guide the strategy and execution of Aon’s global facultative operations, working closely with the company’s broader risk capital teams. His focus will include enhancing client service, building digital capabilities, and strengthening talent across the business.
As market conditions grow more complex, Aon’s decision signals a clear commitment to strengthening leadership at the top, ensuring the company stays ahead in delivering tailored risk solutions worldwide.
