CIO Bulletin - M-Files, Microsoft Redefine Document Process Management

M-Files and Microsoft jointly release AI-based, embedded document process management through Microsoft 365 to the SharePoint Embedded technology.

M-Files has announced a revolutionary partnership with Microsoft and is the first solution for managing document processes that has content stored natively in Microsoft 365. This tactical step uses SharePoint Embedded, a smarter AI-powered approach to enterprise content issues.

Through the direct integration with Microsoft 365, M-Files currently allow document co-authoring and lifecycle management, as well as compliance based on Microsoft Purview. The native configuration enables companies to access and handle documents more effectively, as well as enjoy data security within the trusty Microsoft environment.

This change addresses the age-old problems in legacy systems (including distribution of data and irregular work statements) and makes document process management efficient. All of these benefits to the user include AI automation, greater productivity, and lower risk without requiring custom development.

Jeff Teper of Microsoft termed it as a revolutionary offering that integrates collaboration and content intelligence. M-Files CEO Jay Bhatt has highlighted the special place of the corresponding platform as the metadata-based solution with AI capabilities to manage document processing at the enterprise level.

M-Files extended experience in intelligent information management over more than 10 years takes the content access, control, and utilization to a new level whereas the platform reshapes to be chosen and used by Microsoft-based companies that require a progressive document process management.
