Litium and Monitor ERP Collaborate to Provide Small and Mid-Size Manufacturers with Integrated E-Commerce and ERP.
Litium has signed a strategic partnership with Monitor ERP to provide an integrated digital sales and business management solution for manufacturing companies. The collaboration was formed through the official press release.
The partnership brings together Litium's e-commerce platform with Monitor ERP, which has some 6,000 manufacturing customers worldwide. By combining webshop functionality with ERP systems, it is designed to help small and medium-sized manufacturers improve their operations through better order handling and faster digital sales.
According to Adrian Aptowitzer, CEO of Monitor ERP System, the collaboration is about getting real and therefore delivering immediate and practical value. He said that the pre-built integration allows customers to get up and running with a modern webshop while using ERP data for pricing, inventory, and orders. This way, the complexity is reduced and the day-to-day operations are made more efficient.
Industry observers view the move as part of a larger trend in ERP evolution where seamless connectivity between using enterprise systems and customer-facing systems is becoming necessary. For manufacturers, ERP and e-commerce integration will provide better visibility of their sales channels and will positively affect their responsiveness to market demand.
As manufacturers face more pressure to digitize their sales processes, the partnership between Litium and Monitor allows both companies to better meet the rising need for flexible, combined ERP and commerce solutions aimed at the manufacturing sector.
