Announcing their collaborative endeavor, Infosys revealed the development of a pioneering mobile application, NiCOMS, designed to facilitate telemedicine services and provide patients with remote medication guidance from registered pharmacists. With the aim of streamlining healthcare processes and eliminating the need for physical pharmacy visits, NiCOMS promises to usher in a new era of convenience and efficiency in healthcare delivery.

Having already launched the web version of NiCOMS in September 2020, Nihon Chouzai has garnered an impressive registered user base exceeding 1,800,000 individuals. Building upon this success, the mobile application will now integrate seamlessly with OkusuriTechoPlus, Nihon Chouzai's digital medication notebook, offering users a unified platform for medication management and telemedicine consultations.

The online medication guidance service offered through NiCOMS enables patients across Japan to engage in video calls with pharmacists, receiving personalized medication instructions, consultations, and making payments—all from the comfort of their own homes.
