Kamala Harris vows that she will take priority in the access of healthcare and the reform of the healthcare, saying that it is a right not a privilege.
Golden Vision for International Peace and Domestic Healthcare Reforms has been outlined by Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris at a rally in Michigan. With less than week to the elections, US Vice President Harris condemned the war raging in Gaza saying: “I’ll do everything in my power to stop the war and bring the hostages home, and I will do that without compromising Israel’s right to be safe and the dignity of the Palestinians.”
Harris supports diplomatic solutions for Israel-Lebanon border issues, views healthcare as a basic right for Americans. She pledges to make changes if elected President, including lowering healthcare and tax costs, providing affordable housing and childcare, and protecting reproductive rights.
Harris sought to underscore the need for refreshing the leadership of the society, promising that health care of all citizens would take precedence. “Everyone should have healthcare, not just the rich,” she said and promised to bring down the cost of health care and provide tax relief for middle-class people. She cautioned against those that would want to destroy the Affordable Care Act stressing on protecting health care for people with pre-existing conditions.
“I want every single day, to fight for the improvement of your life,” Harris said while giving examples of housing and child care services becoming cheaper, as well as addressing the challenge of expensive home care for the elderly. Healthcare, and especially today’s healthcare politics, inspired many of the participants, who support it because they care so much.
But just as the elections approach, November 5, recent polls show that Harris and former President Donald Trump are in a dead heat at 48%. Harris is aiming to encourage voters by stressing that healthcare had been the focus of her campaign, and she declares herself a champion of the rights and wellbeing of all Americans.
