Vialto Law reinforces its global mobility and immigration services with Seyfarth Shaw executives transferring a 27-person legal services cohort.
Seyfarth Shaw partners Mahsa Aliaskari and Jacob Cherry have moved to Vialto Law, and they are accompanied by 27 attorneys and employees, marking a major discharge in the legal services sector. The action highlights increasing attention of Vialto to the U.S. immigration and global mobility solutions.
Vialto Law was founded in 2023 by London-based Vialto Partners, which had been a division of the Global Mobility Services department of PwC and intended to increase law offerings to clients in the U.S. The shift is yet another sign of the consulting firms moving into the market of legal services, a mix of legal knowledge and global business consulting.
Sharan Kundi, Vialto global lead, immigration services, claimed that the move makes them better able to deliver clients an integrated solution in terms of immigration, compliance, and global workforce management. Seyfarth, in its turn, claimed that the move comes in line with its strategy of specializing in intricate business immigration and strategic global mobility issues.
The migration of this middle ranking is a part of an overall move of Big Four-associated consultancy firms into the legal services market following earlier similar actions by KPMG and others. The leaders of Vialto feel that the growth will enhance its capacity to provide innovative and client-centered legal and consulting services to its conveners across the globe.
